The Return of Jim Ross

After a month’s absence and over twenty skin cancer treatments, Jim Ross will be returning to commentary on AEW Dynamite. The legendary announcer is always a welcome addition to any show. Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz vs. Daniel Garcia & 2Point0

Daniel Garcia and 2Point0 have been showing disrespect to Eddie Kingston in recent weeks. Kingston was able to defeat Garcia in singles action on the Black Friday episode of AEW Rampage. But Daniel Garcia and 2Point0 got their revenge two weeks ago in a big ten-man tag team match. What will happen in the third match in this heated rivalry?

Kingston will be working with Santana and Ortiz in this big six-man tag team match. Will these three vicious competitors be able to finally defeat Garcia and 2Point0 to end the feud once and for all? It should be a brawl on Wednesday night for sure.

Jade Cargill vs. Thunder Rosa

It is time for the second semifinal in the AEW TBS Women’s Championship tournament! It is certainly a contrast in styles. The high-flying technical prowess of Thunder Rosa versus the power of Jade Cargill. The stakes are high as the winner will face Ruby Soho to become the first-ever AEW TBS Women’s Champion.

Thunder Rosa defeated Jaime Hayter to reach this semifinal match. Jade Cargill defeated her long-time rival Red Velvet to reach the semifinal. Since their wins, Cargill has found any opportunity to disrespect and attack Rosa leading into this match. Can Rosa overcome the odds and beat the undefeated Cargill? It will be a fun match in the wonderful TBS Championship tournament.

Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly vs. Orange Cassidy & Best Friends

At the end of the Orange Cassidy-Adam Cole match last week, Kyle O’Reilly made his AEW debut to help Cole defeat Cassidy. The Undisputed Era seemed to have reformed in All Elite Wrestling. But Orange is looking for some revenge on this week’s AEW Dynamite.

At New Year’s Smash, it is time for Kyle O’Reilly’s AEW in-ring debut. O’Reilly is certainly one of the best wrestlers in the world, and it will be a treat watching him in the ring yet again with his friends. The biggest question going into this match is the Young Bucks. They didn’t seem pleased with O’Reilly showing up on last week’s show. Will they play a role in the outcome of this match?

What To Expect:

  • Bryan Danielson and Hangman Page addressing their upcoming AEW World Championship rematch on January 5th?
  • What will Cody Rhodes do after winning the TNT Championship for the record third time on the Christmas Day Rampage show?
  • Will we see another huge debut in the final show in 2021?
