We’ll Hear From Rated R Superstar Adam Copeland

It was certainly a special moment to see Adam Copeland, formerly Edge of the WWE, make his AEW debut at the end of WresteDream. Despite the rumors, it was still a shock to see the 25-year veteran of the WWE officially arrive in AEW. And he ended WrestleDream getting involved in the business of his friend and former tag team partner, Christian Cage.

On Wednesday night, Adam Copeland will open the show. According to the WrestleDream press conference, he will explain his actions and why he joined the All Elite Wrestling roster. Who will he feud with first? Why did he join AEW? It will be some exciting times for sure for the Rated R Superstar.

Rey Fenix (c) vs. Nick Jackson
(AEW International Championship)

It was certainly a surprise to see Rey Fenix win the AEW International Championship at AEW Grand Slam. It came on the heels of a scary injury for Jon Moxley but the title changed hands. Rey Fenix got his revenge on the Blackpool Combat Club that night.

But there is no rest for any wrestler in All Elite Wrestling. Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks won the right just last week to challenge for the AEW International Championship. The Young Bucks and the Lucha Bros have had a storied rivarly in All Elite Wrestling. What will happen in this singles match encounter?

An added wrinkle is the health of Rey Fenix. He left his Fatal 4 Way Tag Team match early on Sunday’s WrestleDream with an apparent injury. Will he be healthy for Wednesday night or will Nick Jackson take advantage of this injury to win his first singles title? If the match happens, we are in for a huge treat as pro wrestling fans.

Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega vs. Sammy Guevara & Konosuke Takeshita

The Don Callis Family picked up another victory at WrestleDream on Sunday night in a huge six-man tag team match. It was another cheap victory, but regardless the Don Callis Family has stood tall repeatedly over the last few months over their opponents. Can the family possibly be stopped?

On Wednesday night, the unlikely team of Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega will tag against their rivals, Sammy Guevara and Konosuke Takeshita. Can the new tag team of Omega/Jericho finally get one up on the Don Callis Family? They might need to have their head on a swivel for Don Callis and his underhanded ways on Wednesday night.

What To Expect:

  • What is next for MJF?
  • When will Jon Moxley be back in action?
  • What will be Christian Cage’s reaction to Adam Copeland’s debut?
