During the main event of AEW Double or Nothing, a masked wrestler attacked the Elite, costing them the match. This wrestler was quickly revealed to be none other than Konosuke Takeshita. The rising young star had betrayed The Elite and formally allied himself with Don Callis.

On this week’s AEW Dynamite, we will hear from both Takeshita and Callis. Why did Takeshita do it? How did Callis get him to join the dark side? It seems we still have many twists and turns in the very personal feud between Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite.

It is time for another announcement! Tony will appear on AEW Dynamite for the third straight week to fill in more details about the upcoming debut of AEW Collison. First, he shared where a majority of the shows would be located in June and July. Last week, Khan announced that the first AEW Collision would be in Chicago.

What will Khan tell us this week about the debut? Will we learn about some matches? Will we learn about more wrestlers that will be featured on the show? Will we learn about the appearance of a certain Chicago-based wrestler? It is certainly some exciting times for AEW fans with the debut of the new Saturday night show.

Blackpool Combat Club vs. Lucha Bros & Bandido

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta lost in their attempts to defeat the Lucha Bros for the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Granted, it included some help from The Elite, but it was a loss all the same. This week in San Diego, it’s time for the BCC to get their win back.

One issue going into the match is what shape the Blackpool Combat Club is in. The Anarchy in the Arena match surely took a toll on the BCC. Will they be ready to take on a trio of luchadores? It’s mat wrestling versus high-flying lucha libre tonight on Dynamite.

Chris Jericho & Saraya vs. Adam Cole & Britt Baker D.M.D.

At AEW Double or Nothing, Adam Cole defeated Chris Jericho by referee stoppage. With Cole’s friend, Roderick Strong banned from ringside, it was up to Britt Baker to serve as an equalizer, battering Jericho with a kendo stick. As Saraya tried to make the save, she received the business end of the kendo stick as well.

After losing the match, Chris Jericho and Saraya were furious at Baker’s interference. They demanded a mixed tag team match for this week’s AEW Dynamite. Can the newly formed team of Jericho and Saraya be able to keep up with the real-life couple of Cole and Baker? It seems this personal feud isn’t over yet.

What To Expect:

  • Will we hear from new AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm?
  • Will we hear from new AEW TBS Champion Kris Statlander?
  • Will MJF be contractually obligated to appear in San Diego?
