The Butcher & The Blade vs. Kenny Omega & Konosuke Takeshita
It was a surprising moment when Konosuke Takeshita arrived to help The Elite in their fight against the Blackpool Combat Club. Don Callis has been recruiting Takeshita for weeks. But is Konosuke a member of the Elite now?
The question is what happens next? Kenny Omega will team with Takeshita against the veteran team of The Butcher & The Blade on AEW Dynamite. Can the new allies work together well? A lot of questions will be answered on Wednesday night.

We’ll Hear from Adam Cole
Adam Cole and Chris Jericho faced off last week. They wanted to hash out their differences. At least Adam Cole wanted to do so. Chris Jericho picked another horrific option.
Chris Jericho attacked Adam Cole and the JAS handcuffed Cole to the ring. He could do nothing but watch in horror as the Outcasts attacked Britt Baker who came to help Cole. It was a shocking moment on Dynamite.
On this week’s AEW Dynamite, we will hear from Adam Cole. What can he possibly say after the attack on Baker? It is safe to assume the Cole-Jericho feud has just gotten more personal.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 04/26/23
We’ll Hear From New TNT Champion Wardlow & Arn Anderson
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Wardlow won back the AEW TNT Championship for a record-tying third time. He overcame Powerhouse Hobbs and his QTV allies to win back his title. It was a special moment for the Pittsburgh native.
On this week’s AEW Dynamite, we will hear from Wardlow and Arn Anderson for the first time since the historic win. What is next for the new champion? And will a new challenger emerge before AEW Double or Nothing?
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 04/26/23
We’ll Hear From Tony Khan
It is always a big moment when AEW Owner and CEO Tony Khan appears on screen. The last time we saw Khan he was announcing for the huge AEW All In show from Wembley Stadium in England. So we know his rare appearances mean important news for All Elite Wrestling fans.
It was speculated on AEW Rampage, that Khan was not happy with MJF inference in the Pillars Tournament. Will we see a change to the main event of AEW Double or Nothing? Is it announcing another major piece of news? It will be fun to find out on Wednesday night.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 04/26/23
Dax Harwood vs. Jeff Jarrett
On last week’s AEW Rampage, Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, and FTR worked together to win an eight-man tag team match. They didn’t exactly work together well as they picked up the victory. Dax Harwood and Jeff Jarrett in particular, were arguing after the victory on Saturday night.
This Wednesday night we will see Dax Harwood in singles action against Jeff Jarrett. Harwood has impressed with his recent singles matches. What will happen against the 37-year veteran Jarrett in Sunrise? It might just determine the future of the AEW tag team division.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 04/26/23
Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Bandido
(AEW International Championship)
Orange Cassidy has had a historic reign with the AEW International Championship. He has defended the title nineteen times since winning it last October. The toll of all those defenses is certainly showing with Cassidy’s injured hand in recent matches.
Cassidy is defending his title yet again on Wednesday night. He will be facing the dangerous Bandido. Will Orange be healthy enough to defend against the accomplished luchador? If he can, it would be an impressive twentieth-title defense.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 04/26/23
Jade Cargill (c) vs. Taya Valkyrie
(AEW TBS Championship)
Jade Cargill has built an impressive 56-0 record in All Elite Wrestling. She has held the TBS Championship for 474 days. Can anyone possibly stop the undefeated champion?
Enter Taya Valkyrie. Valkyrie has shown no fear since her AEW debut in early March. She has frustrated Cargill by doing a similar finishing move. This is clearly Cargill’s biggest challenge to date. Will Valkyrie become the 1 in 56-1? It will be fun to find out on Wednesday night.
Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin
(AEW Pillars Tournament)
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, MJF announced he was not going to face the other three Pillars in a Fatal 4 Way title match at AEW Double or Nothing. Instead, a three-person tournament started on last week’s show. The winner of the tournament would face MJF in the main event of AEW Double or Nothing.
Last week, Sammy Guevara defeated Jungle Boy to make this week’s final. It certainly wasn’t a clean victory with some interference from MJF. What will happen in the finals when Darby Allin fights Sammy Guevara? We know MJF will certainly be an interested observer to this huge match.
What To Expect:
- What is the condition of Britt Baker after last week’s vicious attack?
- Will we learn more about next month’s Double or Nothing?
- Are Sammy Guevara and MJF really best friends?
