This week’s Raw in Advance for 7/6/20, we’ll look at everything advertised for tonight and what could happen based on last week’s events, what’s next in the storied rivalry between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio. Will there be fall out from Lashley’s assault on Ricochet? What stipulation will Dolph pick for his WWE title match at Extreme Rules?

Champion vs Champion Match

After Bayley’s distraction in last week’s champions vs. challengers tag match proving the turning point of the contest, Asuka will have a game with Bayley this week on Raw. These two have some history, with Bayley being the woman Asuka defeated to start her legendary NXT title reign. Asuka is defending her title against Bayleys tag partner at Extreme Rules. The Raw women’s champion will need to keep an eye on Sasha as well as dealing with Bayley in the ring.

Recent weeks have shown Seth apologizing and having to react to Mysterio and crew. Last week the Monday Night Messiah took a big scalp hitting a stomp on Carillo into the steel steps. Rey has promised it’ll be an eye for an eye. With no match announced between the two yet, we can only speculate when these two will meet in the ring. What’s in store for Seth and his disciples? We don’t know yet, but there will be some reaction from last week’s events.

Andrade and Garza?

After a week of mixed results for Garza and Andrade, could they move into position to challenge for the tag titles? While both men struggled to stay on the same page, they were dominant and deserving winners over the Viking Raiders. They did also feature in a losing effort against the Big Show on the same night. A win over the Viking Raiders is something to celebrate. We can only wait to see what’s next.

Bobby Lashley’s US Title Hunt

We’ve seen in recent weeks MVP and Apollo Crews have had their issues around Apolo not wanting to join MVP’s group. Lashley was at ringside as his manager beat Apolo Crews in a non-title match. The events following the matchup prompted Cedric Alexander and Ricochet to rush down to Apolo’s aid. The duo did manage to break Lashley’s full nelson. Ricochet would find himself in a match with Lashley. The power of Lashley would ultimately be too much for Ricochet, who would pass out in the full nelson. Is Apolo next or Cedric, or maybe Ricochet will want a second go against the all might Lashley.

Drew told Dolph he would allow him to pick the stipulation for their match at Extreme Rules. There’s not been any indication as to what the stipulation would be, but there are exciting possibilities. The obvious stipulation is an Extreme Rules match, of course, they could do something different like banning the claymore kick in a throwback to Orton vs. Shawn from 2007’s survivor series. Drew could find out the match stipulation tonight on Raw.
