PWP Podcast Episode 1 (RAW Underground & RETRIBUTION)

This week, Pro Wrestling Post is proud to announce the return of the Pro Wrestling Post Podcast Weekly edition. Each week Pete Moon, Mark Blake, & Marc Madison will discuss the major happenings in the world of pro wrestling. This is the PWP Podcast Episode 1. Join us this week for:

RAW Underground

This week on RAW, Shane McMahon revealed his secret underground fighting ring. Apparently, Shane O’ Mac has been running this secret fighting club from the performance center for quite some time now. On Monday night we saw Dabba-Kato, The Viking Raiders, and The Hurt Business compete. Who will fight on Raw Underground next? And what will this mean for Monday Night Raw?

RETRIBUTION

This week saw the debut of a brand new faction in WWE, known as RETRIBUTION. The masked members of the new stable caused chaos on RAW and SmackDown this week. Who could be under the balaclavas and why do they want retribution?

The Rock Buys The XFL

The newly relaunched XFL seemed to be going well until the COVID-19 pandemic brought the season to an end. On April 13th, the league filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and went up for sale. On August 2nd, a consortium consisting of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Gerry Cardinale purchased the XFL for $15 Million. What could this mean for the future of the XFL?

Talk N’ Shop A Mania

Shortly after their release from WWE, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows launched the Talk N’ Shop podcast. Through this new podcast, they began promoting Talk’n Shop A Mania, an event the promised would be “The Worst Wrestling PPV ever.” It may not have been the worst, but it was certainly the strangest wrestling pay-per-view ever. Hear what Mark, Pete, and Marc have to say about Luke Gallows’s backyard wrestling pay per view.

Possible IMPACT/AEW Supercard?

Ethan Page of The North and Dax Harwood of FTR had an interesting interaction on Twitter last week, seemingly asking for an inter-promotional match. IMPACT! Wrestling executive Scott D’Amore chimed in later on, saying he would also like to see The North vs FTR but only if the All Elite Wrestling executives approved. Could this be leading to some cross-promotional matches or even a supercard?
