After his wrestling career came to an end Anthony Carelli long prepared himself for life after wrestling. Carelli also competed as former Intercontinental and United States Champion, WWE superstar Santino Marella. His passion for the discipline of Judo has continued to follow him as he continues to train and develop talent in his Battle Arts Academy. He is also an analyst for Sportsnet’s Aftermath which discusses the events of the current WWE product. In this role, he is both honest, candid and fair in his assessment of the execution of the content. Regardless of whether or not he agrees with it, Carelli shares his perspective of the product as he was a part of the company for several years. A former Intercontinental and United States Champion, Santino Marella achieved a great deal of success. He now puts forth his wisdom to his students and daughter by all hoping to craft careers that could potentially parallel his career.

During our discussion, Carelli discussed wrestling, a special ceremony he was part of during a booking on the Canadian Maritimes. Carelli also discusses his daughter’s current pursuit to follow in her father’s footsteps. Carelli’s passion and love of martial arts in particular judo are evident to listeners.
