Without A Cause
I Love WAC
February 23, 2020
Everett Washington

What an exciting time Without A Cause has in store for us at I Love WAC! Tayler Bartle and the team behind WAC… yes, even the cruel, heartless and suspected alien reptile in a flesh suit, Max Zaleski, have done an excellent job at crafting some of the best wrestling you’re going to see here or anywhere!

Take a look at what they have in store for you on Sunday, February 23, 2020:

WAC Championship Three-Way Battle
Chris Bey (c) vs. Jet Knight vs. Ethan HD

The Chris Bey championship at Without A Cause has been both entertaining and eventful! A couple of months ago he made an open call but didn’t specify it was for the WAC belt. Thus, last month when Jeff Cobb defeated him, Chris retained the belt despite losing the match. With evil WAC overlord, Max Zaleski, protecting Chris it is going to be interesting to see how things play out.

This time Chris is going to face not one, but two opponents. His first opponent is someone who needs no introduction, local favorite, Ethan HD! He will be making his second appearance at WAC and making a play for the belt. The second opponent will be one of the region’s fastest rising stars, Jet Knight! He’s young and eager to put a championship belt around his waist.

Singles Competition
Demi God of Death Funnybone vs. Pitfall Jones

Last month we saw the return of Pitfall Jones coming out on top of a brutal battle with the Black Sheep Dave Turner. He is making a comeback and he is certainly off to a good start. At I Love WAC he will come to face another dark creature from the abyss of nightmares, the Demi God of Death Funnybone! This is going to get ugly really quick and it is this writer’s recommendation that anyone sitting in the first three rows be prepared for blood to spatter and possible pummeling with body limbs.

Singles Competition
B-Boy vs. Chase James

Speaking of prestigious out of town guests, for our next match spotlight we will be seeing the “New Age Punisher” B-Boy! This will be his second appearance at Without A Cause and with any luck won’t be his last. This gentleman has over twenty years of experience in the ring. Every moment he’s in there you can see that experience in everything he does.

Facing B-Boy is former WAC Champion, Chase James! This former MMA fighter turn professional wrestler has been grinding his way back to the top. He has faced some of the toughest opponents ever to enter the ring at WAC including Tom Lawler. He defeated Tom, now let’s see if he can add B-Boy to the list of top tear talent he has defeated.

Singles Competition
Nick Wayne vs. Santa Muerte

From the darkness comes a woman shrouded in black. She wears a mask to hide her beauty while she dances on the graves of the fallen. Santa Muerte will be making her Without A Cause debut on February 23. She has haunted the ring of Lucha Libra Volcanica for some time and now she brings her brand of terror to Everett.

Adolescent wrestling prodigy Nick Wayne will be facing this unholy grappler. Nick has yet to see his eighteenth birthday and Santa Muerte will do her best to deny him such rights of passage. Nick should not, however, be underestimated. He has good genes, a wrestling legacy and the best training anyone could dream of having. He has a very good chance of surviving his dance with death.

Tag Tournament Competition
Steve Migs & Mystery Partner
vs.
The Bowlers! Chris Ross & Johnny Flyn

It would appear the tag team tournament is getting contentious and Steve Migs is right there in the middle of everything. On Sunday, February 23 he will be showing up and putting himself in contention for another belt. But who is his partner going to be? Your guess is as good as mine. There’s no telling who our “Local Celebrity” is calling in to stand by his side.

Facing Migs and his mystery partner are The Bowlers! Last month Chris Ross and Johnny Flynn faced off against one another and settled their differences. Now they are a team again and going for WAC gold. These two are a couple of the most overlooked and underappreciated talents in the region. That may be changing soon.

Tag Tournament Competition
The Strays! Judas Icarus & Tyler Elliot
vs.
The Glory Holes! Dave Turner & Chris Ryseck

Photo/@WithoutACauseWA

The Strays are returning, and they will be competing for a chance to go for WAC gold. These two talented young men, Judas Icarus and Tyler Elliot have long been favorites since the very first WAC show. Seeing them advance in the tournament would be truly great to see. Even if they do live in a dumpster behind Tim Hortons.

Facing these homeless youth are the Glory Holes, Dave Turner and Chris Ryseck. We haven’t seen Chris for a while, but it looks like he’s coming back and joining Dave to make a play for tag titles. These two men are much larger and stronger than their opponents. Will we have a case of David versus Goliath? We all know how that one turned out!

Singles Competition
Heather Monroe vs. Liiza Hall

Making another welcome appearance at Without A Cause is Liiza Hall! She will be making her way from Canada to Everett Washington where she will remind us once again what a spectacular talent she really is. It will be exciting to see Liiza again and hope we continue to see her at WAC!

Coming to face our local talent is none other than Heather Monroe. If you happen to live under a rock or are perhaps new to the spectacle of professional wrestling, Heather Monroe is a graduate of the prestigious Santino Brothers Wrestling Academy. This is the wrestling school responsible for producing talents like Brody King and Douglas James to name only a couple. She is a real talent who has faced some of the biggest names in professional wrestling today at such places as Sabotage, Bar Wrestling, and many other promotions.
