Limitless Wrestling Presents Welcome to the Dance

On Saturday, March 9th, Limitless Wrestling presents Welcome to the Dance from the Westbrook Armory in Westbrook, Maine. It is a show sure to bring a little bit of everything to its fans. There will be the risk-taking exploits of big man Ace Romero and the violence that seems to be present in all of Brandon Kirk’s matches. This event will certainly lay down a challenge to all involved as the promotion welcomes every threat to the dance.

Notable independent stars such as MJF, JT Dunn and Chris Dickinson are part of the car, along with more established names such as The Hurricane, Teddy Hart, and Tommy Dreamer. Limitless Wrestling continues to push the envelope as far as exciting events, and this will prove to be another one as it continues to bring the heat, with Spring right around the corner. Here is our preview for Limitless Wrestling’s upcoming Welcome to the Dance event.

The 23-year-old Cassanova will do everything he can to take out the seasoned veteran Hurricane. He will also have the support of the one and only Stokely Hathaway, who will certainly be a distraction for The Hurricane. It could very well be that brash confidence could do one of two things for Cassanova: he will tap into his confidence and make the most of Hathaway’s guidance, or, on the flipside, he could allow that confidence to get the better of him. He should not lose sight of the fact that he is in the ring with a multi-time champion. Is this a case where the more experienced Hurricane is somehow the one that is facing a disadvantage?

Bad attitudes, reckless behavior and risk-taking; these are the things fans will likely be thinking when the third-generational Hart and the maniac superstar face each other. Allin is on the edge in both his ring work and persona. However, the same can be said about Hart. Though he is the owner of Mr. Velvet, fans will not allow Hart being a pet owner to overshadow the edgy nature he presents in the ring and out. Hart will drop as many f-bombs as he will hit moonsaults. At times there is a cloud of mystery that seems to surround Hart, and that cloud may even confuse Allin. However, Allin may be the one challenger that will not relent, or allow Hart’s psychological games to give him the advantage in this match.

This match is sure to excite the Limitless faithful. The unlikely duo of Romero and Greene have generated a great deal of praise for their matches in Limitless, and that should continue to be the case here. Before teaming, Greene and Romero were no strangers to one another, having battled on several occasions. When facing the duo of MJF and JT Dunn, they will have to put any previous differences they may have had aside and focus on a common enemy. With that said, will ‘The salt of the earth’ be able to coexist with Dunn? Will Dunn be able to trust MJF? As this match approaches, more questions seem to follow every answer that is given.

In a match dubbed first time ever, and, which is slated to be a heel versus heel battle, these two teams face one another at Welcome to the Dance. While these teams may not yet be widely known, one thing for sure is that MSP has quite a following among the Limitless Wrestling fan base. This is a pairing of teams with very similar styles, and who are similar in how they draw heat from the crowd. They are too closely matched to be able to predict who will get the advantage over the other, but this is certainly a bout that will cause a stir, what with it being the first time these two factions square off against one another.

When ‘The Innovator of Violence’ squares off against the ‘Dirty Daddy,’ the result is likely to be mass destruction. It is certainly a contrast in styles, as the technical and martial arts skills of Dickinson are pitted against the man known as the face of ECW. What should be noted about Dickinson is that, while his career may not be as decorated or lengthy as Dreamer’s, he is well known and respected in the industry. In fact, Dickinson can lay claim to having been trained by the likes of Mike Quackenbush and Harley Race. Dreamer is as valued today as he ever was, and he will be bringing with him something Dickinson may not be ready for, as these two square off in front of a raucous Limitless crowd

Two young and up and coming talents step into a Limitless ring when six-year pro-Kirk faces off against Vox. When comparing the two, the biggest difference is Kirk’s match experience. What also tends to stand out about Kirk, though we don’t yet know if the match will go in this direction, is that he believed to be the future of death matches in the Northeast. However, while he can bring the violence that isn’t his only notable quality. He has a high-flying style lucha libre style will often surprise his opponents. With that said, Vox is no stranger to bringing the violence. She recently faced Kris Stadlander at Snakebitten in a brutal bout that left the crowd speechless. Anything is possible and if anything Kirk best not to take Vox lightly or he could be left laying.

Freddie/Puf vs The Butcher and The Blade

In a match \up that could easily be described as ‘Straight Outta Buffalo,’ fans will be treated to a battle of pupils and teachers. The backstory among these individuals is extensive and extends to others not involved in this match. As some are aware, Puf, along with Kevin Blackwood, Kevin Bennett, and Daniel Garcia, are all under the learning tree of The Blade, Pepper Parks. Jay Freddie can also make a similar claim to guiding those aforementioned wrestlers. Could this be a case of teachers battling while the pupils in Andy Williams and Puf are left to try to emulate their teachers? Will the Buffalo boys be faced with an all-out war in Maine? That could very well be the case.
