PCW ULTRA Presents BELIEVE (12/7/18)

PCW Ultra: Believe
December 7, 2018

ILWU Memorial Hall
231 W C Street, Wilmington CA 90744

In just a few short weeks PCW Ultra will be putting on their show Believe! This fantastic promotion, located in the Los Angeles area, is quickly approaching their third year. With the kind of names they bring in I think it’s likely we’re going to see them around for quite some time.

On December 7th the people behind PCW Ultra have put together a spectacular card. Below is a listing of the matches they have announced thus far.

Singles Match
Heather Monroe vs. Taya Valkyrie

Taya Valkyrie is a fierce competitor who has made a name for herself along the western seaboard and well beyond. This former ballerina trained under Lance Storm and serves as a true testament to his ability to train and recruit great talent!

Going up against Taya is none other than Heather Monroe! A relatively newcomer on the wrestling scene she has wasted no time showing us what she’s made of. Recently she’s made several appearances on IMPACT Wrestling taking on the likes of Su Young, Allie, and Brandi Rhodes. Will this newcomer be able to defeat Taya Valkyrie? We’ll find out on December 7th!

Singles Match
ACH vs. Jake Atlas

With over a decade of experience under his belt, ACH has become an industry staple. He is perhaps one of the best high flyers in the game today and he has built a career on hard work and professionalism. ACH has worked with nearly every major promotion on the independent circuit and most recently has made a strong showing with NJPW.

Facing ACH will be Jake Atlas! Jake is a relative newcomer with just over two years under his belt. He has been working the West Coast promotions hard over the last couple of years and proven he has a promising career in front of him. He is more than a capable opponent and someone to keep an eye on as one of the fastest rising stars in the industry!

Singles Match
Sami Callihan vs. Brody King

Sami Callihan is a man who needs no introduction to even the most casual fan of independent wrestling. A regular on IMPACT among many other major promotions including some of the biggest ones out there! His list of opponents reads like the who’s who of the wrestling industry. One thing you can consistently count on from our good friend Sami is, every match he’s in is going to be a brutal event!

His opponent on December 7th will be Brody King. King is one of the best guys out there in the heavyweight division. A powerhouse, and regular at my home promotion, DEFY, he is an absolute pleasure to watch in the ring. A relative newcomer to the sport, one would be hard-pressed to tell. This is likely going to be an incredible match, likely a stand out on an impressive card.

Scramble Match
Eli Everfly vs. MJF vs. Hammerstone vs. Lil Cholo

This four-way scramble match has a truly impressive lineup. Eli Everfly is fresh off a WWE Smackdown appearance in which he defeated Mike the Miz! No minor feat, it would seem likely Eli will be looking to continue this momentum going into December 7th.

The next opponent MJF seems to be making a lot of appearances on the West Coast lately. No doubt he doesn’t want to limit his hyperbole to the East Coast. A proficient practitioner of dirty tactics one can expect he’ll throw a few good old-fashioned eye pokes and cheat at any opportunity to win this match.

Hammerstone is an enormous powerhouse who has made appearances up and down the West Coast at promotions such as WCWC in Oregon and most recently making an appearance on IMPACT. He has defeated some of the biggest men in the business and he is likely going into this contest as the biggest and the strongest!

Rounding out this four-way contest is Lil Cholo. A regular at Lucha Underground this gentleman is a highly-skilled technical wrestler. Of all the wrestlers who will be in the ring, Lil Cholo is by far be the most experienced. I think this makes his chances very good he’ll take this one for himself.

PCW ULTRA Women’s Title Match
Tessa Blanchard (c) vs. Delilah Doom

This title match will pit two incredibly talented women against one another. Despite only in the business for about four years, wrestling is in Tessa’s blood. She has worked hard to perfect her craft and it is obvious every time she steps into the ring how seriously she takes her work. She is the current reigning women’s champion, and there is little doubt she’s going to do her best to make sure this doesn’t change.

Delilah Doom has been making an impressive showing as a member of the tag team Doomfly with partner Eli Everfly. But don’t write her off as one half of a tag team. Delilah has held singles titles of her own, including the Sabotage Championship and Phoenix of RISE Championship. Whether she wins this championship or not, she will push Tessa Blanchard to her limits.

PCW ULTRA Tag Team Title Match
Warbeast (Jacob Fatu & Josef) (c) vs. The Boarder Patrol (Colt Stevens & JR Kratos)

The Warbeast tag team champions have held this title since March of last year, thus we are quickly approaching the two-year mark. Now anyone who is a fan of professional wrestling knows holding a title for two whole years is a rare accomplishment. These two men, who occasionally rotate Brody King into the mix, have fiercely defended this title. It seems unlikely they are going to take it easy on their challengers this time around.

The Boarder Patrol hopes to upset the Warbeast champions before they hit that impressive two-year mark. Even though the membership of this team has changed over the years, they are no strangers to winning championships. Will Colt Stevens and JR Kratos steal the PCW ULTRA Tag Team Championship away from Warbeast? If you’re lucky enough to be at Believe you’re going to have a good time finding out.

PCW ULTRA Heavyweight Title Match
Penta El Zero M (c) vs. Shane Strickland

This is likely going to be the main event! Champion against Champion! Penta El Zero M is the current reigning heavyweight champion. He is a luminary in the business and held more titles in his decade long career than most people with over thirty years in the business. He currently holds five titles, but the only title he needs to worry about on December 7th is the PCW ULTRA heavyweight championship.

Shane Strickland is one of the brightest stars working in the independent scene. The current PCW ULTRA lightweight champion he is also the champion at my home promotion. This is a man who is full of surprises, having recently revealed himself as the man behind the Killshot mask. Will Swerve be able to add the heavyweight championship to his belt collection? I predict this is going to be one of those matches that will have you on the edge of your seat!

PCW ULTRA Believe has an 8:30 p.m. bell time. There will be a Platinum Level Meet and Greet from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for an additional cost. If you want to see some top-notch wrestling, go to PCW ULTRA Believe on Friday, December 7th in Wilmington California!
