The show cuts to a video package of Imperium, consisting of Walter, Fabian Aicher, and Marcel Barthel. The video package then cuts to footage of British Strong Style, the trio of Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, and Trent Seven, who interrupt their first segment with a brawl. Business is far from done between these groups.

Three weeks ago, Killer Kelly and Xia Brookside’s match was interrupted by Jinny, who introduced Jazzy Gabert as the newest addition to NXT UK’s women’s division. Despite Brookside’s bravery, Gabert laid out the smaller Superstar.

Backstage, Jinny and Gabert are interviewed. Jinny says that when she saw Gabert sitting in the audience at the first NXT UK TakeOver event, she knew she would either have to fight or befriend her. Jinny says that she is the most fashionable woman in the division, but she’s more than just a pretty face. Her intelligence will take her to the top and no woman in NXT UK will get in her way. Otherwise, Gabert will take care of them.

Grizzled Young Veterans, donning suits, make their way to the ring. Zack Gibson takes the microphone and demands that Vic Joseph not to say another word. Gibson follows up by saying that he was told by management that they would have to defend their NXT UK Tag Team Championship at the Download Festival. Gibson says that Johnny Saint expects him to walk through a muddy field, well-pressed suit and all, while bands like Slipknot butcher music. Gibson tells Saint that he and James Drake, as champions, should be treated with respect. When they’re unhappy, the locker room will become unhappy as well. Gibson ends his promo with “sort it out, old man,” before the champions make their way back up the ramp.

Next week, British Strong Style and Imperium will square off in six-man tag team action!
