EC3 vs Moose

IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020

Fresh off his WWE release, EC3 went about re-establishing himself in IMPACT Wrestling by picking a fight with Moose. At Rebellion, Moose defeated Michael Elgin and Hernandez in a triple threat match, and has since declared himself TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Though IMPACT Wrestling no longer recognizes the TNA World Championship, Moose has defended the belt on several occasions. The belt seemed to be driving Moose, leading him to 9 straight victories over the likes of Suicide, Tommy Dreamer, and Hernandez. However, that all came to an end on August 18th, when EC3 attacked Moose and stole the championship . Since then, Moose has been on the hunt for EC3, who has been telling Moose not to let that belt control him. On Saturday night, these behemoths clash over the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from an undisclosed location.

Call Your Shot Gauntlet

IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020

Once again, Bound For Glory features a Gauntlet for The Gold match, a 20-person battle royal in which the final two competitors can only win by pinfall or submission. Usually the winner of the match may challenge for a championship of their choosing, however this time it’s slightly different. The former Heath Slater has entered this match, along with his tag team partner Rhino, not to earn a championship match, but for a contract with IMPACT! Wrestling. In order to earn this contract, they will have to face Acey Romero, Larry D, Brian Myers, Tommy Dreamer, Havok, Hernandez, Havok, Taya Valkyrie, Tenille Dashwood, and 9 others. Will one make it all the way to the end, or will Heath and Rhino find themselves as the final two?

Eddie Edwards vs Ken Shamrock (w/Sami Callihan)

IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020

On September 22nd, somebody attacked Eddie Edwards as he left Skyway Studios. The following week we learned that Edwards’ assailant was none other than IMPACT! Wrestling hall of fame inductee, Ken Shamrock. To make matters worse, on October 13th, we learned Shamrock carried out the attack at the advice of Sami Callihan. Prior to this, Shamrock and Callihan had been feuding. However, it seems they have put aside their differences to focus on a mutual contempt for Edwards. Ever cloud has a silver lining, though, and things are no different for Eddie. He’s looking to reclaim some of his momentum after losing the IMPACT! World Championship to Eric Young back on September 1st. In fact, Edwards hasn’t had a match since their championship rematch at Victory Road on October 3rd. Can Eddie Edwards defeat the legendary Ken Shamrock or will he be another victim of the dreaded ankle lock?

6-Way Scramble for the X-Division Championship
Rohit Raju (c) vs Chris Bey vs Jordynne Grace vs TJP vs Trey vs Willie Mack

IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020

“The Desi Hit Man” Rohit Raju has made few friends since winning the X-division championship at Emergence. On September 15th, he made Trey, TJP, and Chris Bey fight for #1 contendership, only to pin Trey with a roll-up seconds after the match. At Victory Road, Raju introduced the “Beat Rohit Challenge” for the X-Division Championship. Willie Mack answered the challenge, but Rohit took a count-out loss to retain the title. On October 6th, Jordynne Grace stepped up to the “Beat Rohit Challenge” and pinned The Desi Hit Man. However, in his post-match promo, Raju clarified that the Beat Rohit Challenge was no longer for the X-Division Championship. All five challengers will likely deal with Rohit early on in the match, but will one of them capture the title? Or can Rohit use this to his advantage and slip away with the title in tow?

IMPACT World Tag Team Championship
Motor City Machine Guns (c) vs The Good Brothers vs The North vs Ace Austin & Madman Fulton

Since the Motor City Machine Guns ended The North’s historic title reign at Slammiversary, the tag team division has been on fire. Along with The Good Brothers and Ace Austin & Madman Fulton, the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship is so hotly contested that this match could only be a four-way. The defending Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) are innovators of the lucha/puro hybrid style that has come to define American indie wrestling. Ethan Page and Josh Alexander of The North bring a strong striking and technical game. The Good Brothers combine Karl Anderson’s technical skill with Doc Gallows’s pure power to devastating effect. Ace Austin & Madman Fulton are a high flying showboater and a powerhouse. However, only one unit can walk away with the championship belts in this clash of styles on Saturday night.

IMPACT Knockouts Championship
Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Kylie Rae

On the same night that Deonna Purrazzo captured the IMPACT Knocouts Championship, Kylie Rae became #1 contender. While Rae was away at Wrestle House, Purrazzo became quite the schemer. She retained the championship in her 30-minute Ironwoman rematch with Jordynne Grace at Emergence by blasting her with the belt.  Since then, Purrazzo and Kimber Lee have tried to get under Rae’s skin through her friendship with Susie. The villainous duo bullied Susie, trying to coax out her dangerous alter ego, Su Yung. This culminated at Victory Road, where Purrazzo and Lee broke Susie’s arm with a chair. Now, Kylie Rae is determined not only to become Knockouts Champion, but to avenge her fallen friend. Is this determination enough to defeat The Virtuosa, or will the smiley one become another victim of the Venus de Milo armbar?

IMPACT World Championship

Eric Young (c) vs Rich Swann

Rich Swann eliminated Eric Young from the 5-way elimination match for the vacant IMPACT World Championship at Slammiversary. Young responded by attacking Swann’s previously injured ankle with a steel chair. In the aftermath, Swann announced that he decided to retire after this career-threatening injury. Following the announcement, Eric Young launched yet another attack on Swann. Then, on September 1st, The World Class Maniac defeated Eddie Edwards to become IMPACT World Champion. The following week, Rich Swann returned to attack Young following his match against Tommy Dreamer. Following the attack, Swann announced he was medically cleared to face Young for the championship at Bound for Glory. Since then, Young has attacked Swann several times to put him out of action. Swann still stands, however, and he’ll have his opportunity for revenge on Saturday night.
