As IPW Champion for over a year now, The Big Picture by hook or by crook continues to reign over the IPW locker room. Whether by nefarious means or utilizing his size and power to pick up victories, he just keeps winning. But, in recent times, a few up and coming IPW stars have become thorns in the monster’s side. One of those thorns is Jaxon King.

The IPW rookie has been impressive in each outing so far this year. He stunned the Big Picture during the Golden Ticket Ladder Match and came within inches of walking away with the guaranteed title shot. These two were scheduled to face off earlier this year but the pandemic delayed that confrontation. Now they meet this Sunday with IPW’s biggest prize on the line.

James Jeffries (c) vs Sparrow

These former partners attempted to settle their differences the last time IPW was in front of fans in March. But, their rivalry couldn’t be contained as the two fought all around and outside the Forte Center in Des Moines. The wild brawl resulted in a double count-out.

This Sunday, these former friends get the opportunity to settle their differences. Making the match even bigger is the fact that Jeffries’s IPW Vault Championship is on the line.

IPW Tag Team Championship
AJ Smooth/Gable Galileo/Daniel Mott (c) vs Justin Decent & Ethan Everheart

The trio collectively known as the Prince’s of the Universe are defending their tag team titles for the first time this Sunday. With an assist from Gable Galileo, AJ Smooth and Daniel Mott became champions at the IPW Lethal Leap Day show earlier this year. Utilizing the “Freebird Rule” the trio can send any two competitors into battle for their matches. Opposing them Sunday is the wily veteran Justin Decent and the up and comer Ethan Everheart.

This will be their first match teaming together. Decent came to the aid of Everheart after his loss to the Big Picture during the last IPW Vault show. It will be interesting to see if the new duo can take the titles from the devious trio.

“Golden Boy” Bryce Jordyn vs Max Chill

To say Bryce Jordyn has been red hot within the confines of IPW would be an understatement. Earlier this year he won the IPW Golden Ticket earning him a guaranteed championship match for up to one year. At the last IPW Vault show, he defeated IPW Tag Team Champion AJ Smooth in a highly competitive match.

Looking to slow down Jordyn’s momentum is Max Chill. Another up and coming star with IPW, Chill took part in the Golden Ticket Ladder Match earlier this year. He would love to make a name as the guy who defeated Bryce Jordyn.

A plethora of IPW stars will be itching at the chance to become the number one contender. Wrestlers that have been announced for the battle royal so far are Damien Saint, “The Charm” Quay’Von Orlando, Sparrow, Gable Galileo, “Wildcard” Chriss Mercer, Justin Decent, and Ethan Everheart. But, like with any IPW multi-man match, fans can expect a few surprises.
