Halloween Havoc Hangover | Coming Up NXT for 11/4/20 | Preview

Fresh off an exciting and interesting NXT Halloween Havoc, we have a new North American champion, a chaotic new alliance in NXT, a refocused nightmare, and Io Shirai still the NXT Women’s Champion. But a new week brings new challenges as tomorrow we have another edition of NXT live from the Capitol Wrestling Center filled with action from the black and gold brand. This is Coming Up NXT preview for November 4, A Halloween Havoc Hangover!

A Kick For TeamKick

Missed from the hijinx of NXT Halloween Havoc is the bubbling rivalry building between NXT’s queen of mischief, Dakota Kai, and the returning flag bearer of the NXT women’s division, Ember Moon. While Moon has made her NXT Women’s Championship intentions clear, the one thing is for certain is her goals come with many roadblocks, namely in the shape of Dakota Kai. For the leader of TeamKick, it’s a match to show why she still is the most dangerous woman on the roster and Io Shirai’s biggest threat. But after a savage kick to the temple two weeks ago, Kai may have awakened something nasty in Ember. These two women showdown on this week’s NXT and get one step closer to the #1 Contendership.

Dreams and Fairytale Endings

And on the men’s side, Tommasso Ciampa seems to be holding steady as NXT’s most dangerous woman and forever a threat to regain his Goldie. But on his path to relentlessness, there has been several roadblocks featuring a who’s who of the brand. And while KUSHIDA and even Jake Atlas pose a threat to the Psycho Killer, this week’s focus is on one man: Velveteen Dream. Between competing for both top men’s titles in NXT, the former North American Champion has come up short in his clashes with KUSHIDA, but now he faces another threat on his path back to redemption in Ciampa. Can Tommasso right the wrongs of the wayward NXT roster by using Velveteen as an example? Or will Dream end the fairytale of Ciampa’s quest to Goldie with one Purple Rainmaker?

Dangerous Alliance

Last week on Halloween Havoc, we finally got an answer from NXT’s resident loudmouth Pat McAfee on why he became pro wrestling’s most hated figure after orchestrating the destruction of the Undisputed Era. But through the rhetoric and financial bribes for the NXT’s Ridge Holland and the Tag Team Champions, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan, Kyle O’Reilly looked to right a wrong and defend the good UE name. But even with enlisting the help of the returning Pete Dunne, all became lost quickly as the Bruiserweight joined McAfee’s Militia and aligned himself with the most destructive foursome in NXT history. On this week’s edition, we are sure to hear more from Pat McAfee, but moreso hear from Pete Dunne on why he has joined this chaotic group?

Also, we hope to hear Rhea Ripley’s intention now that she has put Raquel in her rearview, an update on Damien Priest after that horrific crash through the Halloween Havoc set at the end of his title match, a hopeful update on Candice LeRae after her big fall into a ladder in the NXT Women’s Championship match and finally find out more about Finn Balor and the future of the NXT Championship…

…And see if we can recover Cameron Grimes from the zombie apocalypse. This has been another edition of Coming Up NXT for 11/5/20. Tune in tomorrow for what is to come as the black and gold brand’s superstars continue to strive for the future! That’s 8 pm EST, and it’s only on the USA Network!
