GCW Announce Rescheduled “The Collective” Shows

Earlier this year, Game Changer Wrestling canceled all of their WrestleMania weekend shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This left wrestling fans disappointed, as many look forward to GCW’s wild, inventive events more than they do to WrestleMania. On August 28th, however, GCW announce that “The Collective” shows have been rescheduled in October. Show’s like Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, Effy‘s Big Gay Brunch, and Joey Janela’s Spring Break will take place at the Marion County Fairground in Indianapolis, Indiana, from October 9th-11th. All of these events will stream live on FITE TV. The events are scheduled as follows:

October 9:
12 PM: GCW Jimmy Lloyd’s D-Generation F
4 PM: Southern Underground Pro
8 PM: Absolute Intense Wresting: Thunder in Indianapolis
11:59 PM: GCW For the Culture

October 10:
11 AM: Effy’s Big Gay Brunch presented by GCW
3 PM: Glory Pro Wrestling
7 PM: GCW Joey Janela’s Spring Break 4: Spring Break Forever
11:59 PM: Freelance Wrestling and Freelance Underground

October 11:
12 PM: Black Label Pro presents: Threat Level Noon
4 PM: SHIMMER
8 PM: GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport
11:30 PM: Paradigm Pro Wrestling

GCW also announced that they would be honoring tickets purchased for the shows they canceled in Tampa. However, they also announced that those who purchased tickets but cannot attend the Indianapolis shows may request refunds or rollover those tickets for any future event held under The Collective’s banner. Masks will be mandatory for those attending the Indianapolis shows. Seating will also be staggered to encourage social distancing.

GCW Announce Rescheduled “The Collective” Shows

So far, GCW have announced three wrestlers to appear over that October weekend in Indianapolis. On September 7th, GCW and Josh Barnett announced on twitter that former IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion Josh Alexander will compete at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, an event showcasing shoot-style wrestlers. Shortly thereafter, AJ Grey announced that indie superstar AR Fox will take on wrestling legend 2 Cold Scorpio at GCW For The Culture, an event showcasing black wrestlers.
