    ECW Guilty As Charged 1999 | ECW Saturday Night RetroView

    On January 10th, 1999, Extreme Championship Wrestling presented ECW Guilty As Charged 1999. This was the first-ever ECW Guilty As Charged pay-per-view event. It took place from Kissimmee, Florida & we got 7 matches we got 2 Title matches (Television & ECW World Heavyweight) we also got a Stairway To Hell Match, as well as Sid Vicious in action.

    ECW Guilty As Charged 1999
    3 Way Dance

    The Hardcore Chair Swinging Freaks (Balls Mahoney & Axl Rotten) vs. FBI (Little Guido & Tracy Smothers) vs. Danny Doering & Roadkill

    Everyone brawls in and out of the ring before Little Guido crashes on the rail with a missed dive. Axl Rotten attacks Roadkill with a chair then Balls Mahoney gives Tracey Smothers a superkick, a sit-out bomb, and a clothesline to the floor. Mahoney follows with a plancha onto the FBI before Danny Doring & Roadkill take control.

    Roadkill hits splashes. Doring nails a G Spot Sweep, then Bareback, followed by Tea Bag before Doring & Roadkill continue with a Hart Attack, but Tommy Rich decks them with the flag then FBI hits Doring with a double fisherman’s suplex to eliminated Doring & Roadkill.

    FBI double teams Mahoney with double chops and dropkicks then they also land a Paisan Elbow. Mahoney fires back with a Saito Suplex and tags in Rotten & he cleans house with clotheslines, punches, and a flip, flop, and fly. The Hardcore Chair Swinging Freaks then whips FBI into each other and hit their finishers in stereo to get the win.

    Winners: The Hardcore Chair Swinging Freaks (10:43)

    ECW Guilty As Charged 1999
    Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Super Crazy

    The match starts off with some mat wrestling and pin attempts before Yoshihiro Tajiri takes control with basement dropkicks, then follows with a handspring elbow, Asai Moonsault, and the Tarantula. Super Crazy answers with a springboard dropkick, somersault plancha, and a moonsault off the rail.

    Back inside the ring, Crazy does a rolling surfboard, then Tajiri sends Super Crazy outside and lands a plancha. When they return, they trade magistral cradles. Super Crazy takes over and hits tornado DDTs, but he misses a corkscrew splash.

    It leads to fighting on the top rope as Tajiri hits a sunset bomb and a Super Frankensteiner before they exchange power bombs. Tajiri then spins Crazy around & drills him to the mat with Dragon Suplex to get the victory.

    Winner: Yoshihiro Tajiri (11:37)

    ECW Guilty As Charged 1999
    Sid Vicious vs. John Kronus

    John Kronus throws ineffective punches, so Sid Vicious tosses him over the ropes before Kronus lands on a table then. Sid grabs a chair and whacks Kronus in the head & back as the fans chant for a powerbomb so Sid grants their wish as he rolls Kronus inside and nails the powerbomb to get the victory.

    Winner: Sid Vicious (1:31)

    ECW Guilty As Charged 1999
    Tag Team Match
    The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray & D Von) vs. Spike Dudley & New Jack

    Both teams fight with crutches, metal trays, and bowls. D Von Dudley scuffles with New Jack while Spike Dudley gets the better of Buh Buh Ray Dudley but Buh Buh takes control and throws Spike into the crowd twice while D Von & Jack continue brawling until Jack & Spike get guitars.

    The Dudley Boyz avoid them, but Big Dick Dudley isn’t as lucky then The Dudleys Boyz answer with chairs. Buh gives Spike a Super Buh Buh Bomb then they take Jack to the ramp. D-Von hits Buh Buh by mistake, but they still land a 3D on Jack.

    Spike throws low blows and gives everyone Acid Drop & there is more miscommunication among The Dudley Boyz before Big Dick blocks one more Acid Drop & this allows The Dudley Boyz to give Spike a 3D for the win.

    Winners: The Dudley Boyz (10:01)

    ECW Guilty As Charged 1999
    ECW Television Title Match

    Rob Van Dam (c) vs. Lance Storm

    The match starts off with Rob Van Dam & Lance Storm doing some mat wrestling until Storm grabs rolling Half Crab as Bill Alfonso draws Storm’s attention by grabbing Miss Bytch, then Storm & RVD fight outside. RVD does a somersault plancha into the crowd. Storm answers with a reverse DDT on the floor; then Lance performs a springboard plancha into the stands.

    RVD flips through a back superplex and lands a Rolling Thunder; then he continues with a Van Daminator after 2 tries. Fonzie says Storm is out, but he plays possum and kicks RVD low when Bytch occupies the official. RVD rallies with another Van Daminator, but it hits the ref.

    Lance Storm capitalizes with a sidekick to the chair, but there’s no referee as Fonzie distracts Storm & RVD nails a flying Van Daminator, but he misses the 5 Star Frog Splash & it leads to powerbomb and pin reversals before RVD drills Storm to the mat with a German Suplex to get the win.

    Winner: AND STILL Television Champion: Rob Van Dam (18:50)

    ECW Guilty As Charged 1999
    Stairway To Hell Match

    Justin Credible vs. Tommy Dreamer

    Tommy Dreamer takes the fight to the outside with a Cactus Clothesline before Justin Credible takes control with the guardrail and a chair then. Dreamer answers with a Russian leg sweep, and a Dreamer Driver then grabs the ladder and avoids Credible’s baseball slide.

    Dreamer slams Credible on the ladder, but he misses an elbow drop, so Credible capitalizes and tries to injure Dreamer’s arm before Dreamer fends off Credible’s entourage then. Nicole Bass flubs her interference, so Dreamer nails a Spicolli Driver on Credible.

    After a see-saw spot, they knock each other off the ladder. Credible also puts Dreamer on the ladder and dumps him outside, but Dreamer returns with a 2nd ladder, then they climb, and Dreamer gives Credible a cutter from the ladder & that allows him to unhook the cane.

    Terry Funk clocks Tommy with a trash can, then Credible retrieves the cane & whacks Dreamer with it before he lands. That’s Incredible for the win.

    Winner: Justin Credible (18:45)

    ECW Guilty As Charged 1999
    ECW World Heavyweight Title Match

    Shane Douglas (c) vs. Taz

    Shane Douglas & Taz do some mat wrestling until Taz lands a Tazplex and an Alabama Slam. Then the fight devolves into a crowd brawl as they spill over the guardrail and ascend to the top of the stands. Taz rams him into the barricade, but Douglas nails Taz with a chair & when they return to the ring, Taz & Douglas put each other through tables then the lights go out.

    Sabu’s music plays & he arrives and wreaks havoc as Sabu puts both men through tables with triple jump dives and he limps away. Douglas crawls to a pin, but he only gets a two count, then Douglas calls for help. Tammy Sytch answers but Francine catfights with her.

    Chris Candido also appears, but he turns on Douglas as he decks him and removes his Triple Threat shirt. Then Taz nails a Tazplex and locks in Tazmission & Douglas passes out.

    Winner: By Submission & NEW ECW World Heavyweight Champion: Taz (22:15)
