Brace for IMPACT for 11/10/20 (TJP vs Raju for the X-Division Title)

It feels like Bound For Glory was just a week ago, but we’re already into the lead-up to Turning Point. That’s probably why so much has happened on IMPACT! Wrestling since Bound For Glory. At Turning Point, Willie Mack will get his revenge on Moose for his attack in the parking lot. We will also see Swoggle take out his frustrations on Bryan Myers. In addition, The North will defend the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship against The Good Brothers, Rich Swann will defend his IMPACT World Championship against Sami Callihan, and Deonna Purrazzo will face Su Yung in a No DQ Match for the Knockouts Championship. Who else will make the card on Saturday night? Find out Tuesday night at 8 PM on IMPACT! Wrestling. Prepare as we Brace for IMPACT for 11/10/20.

Chris Bey vs Eddie Edwards

Eddie Edwards has been having a hard time in IMPACT Wrestling since he lost the IMPACT World Championship on September 1st. Since that night, he lost his championship rematch with Eric Young and subsequent matches against Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock. Last week, he took the pin in his tag match with Rich Swann against Sami Callihan and Eric Young. This week, Eddie’s looking to end his slump against Chris Bey, who recently broke a losing streak of his own. Chris Bey lost the X-Division Championship to Rohit Raju on night one of Emergence, along with the 5 following matches. Last week he defeated fellow X-Division star Trey Miguel, and he’s going to need to keep it up if he wants to reclaim the championship. A win over a former 2-time IMPACT World Champion (and 2-time X-Division champion) like Eddie Edwards is sure to send him back up X-Division rankings. Will Eddie Edwards break his losing streak, or will he give Chris Bey the biggest win of his life? Find out Tuesday on AXS.

Karl Anderson vs Josh Alexander

On the October 27th episode of IMPACT Wrestling, The Good Brothers walked into the locker room to find The North lecturing security on tag team wrestling. However, when Ethan Page noticed Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, he changed the subject and started making fun of them. He called them “The worst investment IMPACT Wrestling ever made,” citing their lack of big wins since their debut back in July. Gallows and Anderson didn’t take kindly to those words and brawled with Page and Alexander backstage. Last week, Doc Gallows defeated Ethan Page in singles action, but not before Josh Alexander tried to get involved. Anderson thwarted the yakuza kick from Alexander, giving Gallows the win. This week Josh Alexander is out to avenge his tag team partner’s loss last week with a match against Karl Anderson this Tuesday night.

Acey Romero vs Chris Sabin

On October 24th, at Bound For Glory, Josh Alexander of The North attacked Alex Shelley before the bell rang. The piledriver on the stage left Shelley’s MCMG partner Chris Sabin alone for his 4-way tag team championship defense. On the following episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Acey Romero and Larry D interrupted an interview with The Motor City Machine Guns to demand a match against the former IMPACT Tag Team Champions. Shelley and Sabin told them they’d get a match on another day, and Team XXXL decided to attack the former tag team champions. Last week Chris Sabin spoke about the recent attacks on his partner and how everyone wants to put Alex Shelley on the shelf. He offered an open challenge to either member of Team XXXL, and this week Acey Romero is stepping up to the plate. Will Chris Sabin avenge his injured friend, or will Acey Romero put Sabin on the shelf?

Tenille Dashwood & Madison Rayne vs Havok & Neveah

As we learned at Bound For Glory, IMPACT! Wrestling has decided to resurrect the Knockouts Tag Team Championships. It only makes sense, given the wealth of established tag teams in the Knockouts division. However, not everybody has a tag team partner. Last week on Locker Room Talk, Tenille Dashwood suggested that Madison Rayne should join her as a tag team partner. A former 2-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion herself, Madison Rayne accepted the offer. Tuesday night, they face Havok & Neveah. Can Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne get along in the ring against the more experienced Havok & Neveah?

Rohit Raju (c) vs TJP
X-Division Championship

TJP has had some terrible luck when it comes to the X-Division Championship. On night one of Emergence, he was scheduled to face Chris Bey in singles action for the title. However, Chris Bey enlisted Rohit Raju to fend off Fallah Bahh, making it a triple threat match. Later, he participated in a triple threat match for #1 contendership and the 6-way scramble for the X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory, coming up short both times. However, he’s got a strong claim to a title shot. He’s a former X-Division champion, and the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Champion, on top of 22 years in the industry. Compounding matters is the fact that Rohit Raju has held onto the championship by the skin of his teeth time after time. Last week, IMPACT! Wrestling executive Scott D’Amore announced that TJP will face Rohit Raju for the X-Division Championship. However, should TJP lose, he will never be able to challenge Rohit for the championship again. Could we see a new champion on Tuesday night, or will the wiley Rohit Raju steal yet another victory?
