Jade Cargill in Action

Jade Cargill was impressive in her huge debut match alongside Shaq on the March 3rd edition of AEW Dynamite. She was able to put on a powerful and dominating performance in that tag match. She even pulled out the pinfall victory on Red Velvet after a facebuster finishing move.

Two weeks later, Jade Cargill is finally back in action. What will she do for an encore at St. Patrick’s Day Slam? And will see finally explain what happened to Shaq? Here is hoping we get some answers on Wednesday night.

AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 3/17/21
Jurassic Express & Bear Country vs. Matt Hardy, Private Party, The Butcher & The Blade

Matt Hardy was devastated. He had lost what was the most important thing in the whole world to him. He had lost his entire first-quarter earnings. In response to this horrible event, he added The Butcher & The Blade to his growing Matt Hardy brand. They will get to see how well they can work together as a team on Wednesday night.

Their opponents in the huge ten-man tag team match is Jurassic Express and Bear Country. Bear Country is the wildcard for sure. They have mainly been dominating in short matches on AEW Dark. They finally made their presence known on last Sunday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view when they eliminated multiple competitors on the Battle Royale. What mood will Bear Country be in at St. Patrick’s Day Slam in their biggest match to date? This will be a chaotic brawl on Wednesday.

Eddie Kingston & Jon Moxley vs. The Good Brothers

Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley are together again. Eddie Kingston heroically tried to save his old friend Moxley from the “Exploding” ring at AEW Revolution. The gesture was still quite noble, even if the explosion didn’t really happen on that infamous Sunday night. If anything, it motivated the pair to be even closer and get some revenge on Kenny Omega along with the Good Brothers. They get their chance at St. Patrick’s Day Slam.

They can begin to get their revenge on Impact’s Good Brothers on Wednesday Night. The Good Brothers will have something to prove as well on AEW Dynamite. They have just lost the Impact Tag Team Championships to FinJuice on Saturday night. Can they get some revenge on the clearly motivated Moxley and Kingston? Expect this to be a very physical tag team match on Dynamite.

Cody Rhodes vs. Penta El Zero Miedo

Cody Rhodes was celebrating an easy victory on last week’s AEW Dynamite when Penta El Zero Miedo decided to interrupt. Through a translator, he felt the need to insult Cody Rhodes and his growing family. This proved too personal for Cody, and he proceeds to get into a huge brawl with Penta in the stands of Daily’s Place. It is now time for a match to occur at St. Patrick’s Day Slam.

What will happen on Wednesday night? Both competitors desperately need a big victory after they lost in the Casino Ladder Match at AEW Revolution. Who will pull off the important victory in this very personal match?

(Lights Out Match)
Dr. Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa

Few feuds have been more personal than the feud between Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa in recent AEW history. They have been involved in many brawls in the last few months on AEW Dynamite. They have attacked each other backstage on numerous occasions. At Beach Break in February, Baker cheated to defeat Rosa in a singles match. In a historic main event at St. Patrick’s Day Slam, it will all get settled in the first-ever Women’s Lights Out Match.

The only Lights Out Matches in AEW History have been some of the most hardcore and extreme encounters in the promotion’s short history. With two competitors who truly seem to despise each other, what lengths will they go to in an attempt to gain this huge victory? I am sure I can speak for all AEW fans when I say I cannot wait for this historic main event.
