The fans loved this opening match. They didn’t like the Time Limit Draw, but other than that, they liked the match.
We get plenty of strikes and submissions dished out by Katsuhiko Nakajima. Osamu Namiguchi holds his ground and hangs in there with Nakajima. Namiguchi gets busted open, and then Nakajima goes for R 15, but it’s ducked.
Nakajima hits a German suplex, but the time limit expires just as the ref is ready to slap his hand down for the three-count.

Kudo gets into the action, but eventually, he’s tossed to the floor, which leads to Ibushi hitting a Shooting Star Press from the apron.
Ibushi jumped with it and landed it perfectly. Then they were back in the ring, and Ibushi wanted the win. He goes for a Moonsault off-the-top rope, but Kudo rolls out of the way.
Ibushi lands on his feet and hits a standing Moonsault before a Phoenix Splash get a two count. Murahama plants Ibushi with a Brainbuster, allowing Kudo to hit a flying double knee drop.

Taka Michinoku, Sonjay Dutt & Psycho vs. Yoshihito Sasaki, Taiji Ishimori & Tatsuhito Takaiwa

3rd Place Match Of The 2005 Differ Cup
Tiger Emperor & Super Shisa vs. Leonardo Spanky & Kaz Hayashi
The crowd wasn’t too bad for the first half of this match, but toward the end, the crowd was dead.
The match starts with some grappling, and reversals help start a steady pace. Then Kaz Hayashi gains a pretty dominating lead with some big boots and chops.
Hayashi & Super Shisa get into a slap fight, which Hayashi wins, but he’s soon caught with a dropkick.
Leonardo Spanky tags into semi-bail out his partner and hits a superkick/tornado DDT combo.
Hayashi eventually nails a springboard DDT as well, and there’s a brief yet well-done moment when everyone hits everyone else with their signature/finishers spot.
Tiger Emperor even hits the Tiger Driver, and after more offense, everyone begins to slow down. Hayashi and Spanky nail the Powerbomb/Sliced Bread #2 combo for the win.
Winners: (and taking 3rd Place) Leonardo Spanky & Kaz Hayashi (18:44)

Finals Of The 2005 Differ Cup
Naomichi Marufuji & Kenta vs. Minoru Fujita & Ikuto Hidaka
The crowd was on fire this whole match as the fans cheered for Fujita & Hidaka (who are the heels) & Marufuji & Kenta were getting booed (They are the babyfaces).
Kenta & Minoru Fujita starts things off & Fujita takes charge with a DDT as well as some Bootscrapes in the corner before Kenta comes back but gets planted with a powerbomb with a dropkick to the face just to add some more pain.
Naomichi Marufuji bails Kenta out of a submission before Kenta eventually battles back and nails some Bootscrapes to pay Fujita back for the ones Kenta received early in the match.
Marufuji DDTs Fujita on the ramp, then proceeds to taunt the fans nearby. A slingshot elbow by Marufuji, followed by Kenta feigning a slingshot leg drop, opting to kick Fujita in the face instead, Kenta taunts them.
Fujita manages to hit an avalanche northern lights suplex and makes the tag to Hidaka. Marufuji gets hit with a Tombstone, and Fujita holds him in a Grounded Pendulum as Hidaka nails a dropkick to his exposed face.
Cobra Clutch Implant DDT by Fujita gets a near fall before things break down in the end with Fujita locking in Boneyard on Kenta as Marufuji is trapped in Shawn Capture by Hidaka.
Kenta barely makes it to the ropes, and then we have lots of nearfalls. Then, Hidaka saves Fujita from the Powerbomb/Avalanche Shiranui.
However, he isn’t saved from the Doomsday Busaiku Knee Kick, then a cover, but the pinfall is broken up. Fujita scores with several consecutive roll-ups, all getting 2 counts.
Tiger Suplex gets a two-count before Kenta connects with a Busaiku Knee to get the win.
