We’ll Hear From Hangman Adam Page
It was quite a surprise to see former AEW World Champion Adam Page in the Zero Hour Over Budget Charity Battle Royale. He won it but it still seems a long way from the main event of AEW pay-per-views. But maybe his fortunes are about to change.
On Wednesday night, we will hear from Hangman Adam Page. What is on his mind after the Battle Royale? Hopefully, this show will be the start of something really good for our favorite cowboy.

MJF Speaks Live
At AEW All Out, MJF overcame an injury scare to help Adam Cole retain the ROH World Tag Team titles over the Dark Order. As the match ended, MJF was shoved by Samoa Joe. MJF couldn’t maintain his cool and attempted to attack Joe in Chicago.
On Wednesday, we will hear from AEW World Champion MJF. Is he healed from his injuries? What are his thoughts on Samoa Joe? It is always interesting to see what MJF is going to say and do next.

Aussie Open vs. Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara
Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara were getting into a heated promo battle in the ring last week on AEW Dynamite. Before their friendship was truly affected, Jericho proposed an idea. Le Sex Gods would reform and try to conquer the AEW Tag Team Division.
They certainly didn’t pick an easy opponent for their reunion. Aussie Open will face Le Sex Gods on Wednesday night. Sammy and Chris haven’t tagged together in months. Will they possibly be ready for the former IWGP and ROH World Tag Team Champions? It will be fun to find out in Indianapolis.

Trent Beretta vs. Roderick Strong
(Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament Quarterfinal)
Roderick Strong has had a rough couple of months. He has suffered a horrible neck injury that requires him to wear a neck brace to this day. He has also watched as Adam Cole has formed a friendship with MJF much to Strong’s frustration. Roderick finally gets back into action Wednesday night in the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament.
He faces a dangerous opponent in Trent Beretta. Beretta is coming off a victory in the brutal Stadium Stampede match. Can the emotional Strong be ready and rested for Trent Beretta? If not, it could be a quick exit from the tournament.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 09/6/23
Darby Allin vs. Nick Wayne
(Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament Quarterfinal)
This will be a very personal match in the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament. Darby Allin was trained by Buddy Wayne, Nick Wayne’s father. After Buddy Wayne’s death, Darby has been a mentor to the prodigy Nick Wayne. Darby even gave Nick his AEW contract at a DEFY Wrestling show in February of 2022.
The two have been very close since Nick Wayne’s AEW debut this past July. Can the protege defeat his mentor? Darby Allin has known Nick Wayne for most of his life. What will happen between the two trainers of Buddy Wayne? It should be an emotional moment on Wednesday night.
What To Expect:

- Will we hear from new AEW International Champion Jon Moxley?
- What is next for Orange Cassidy?
