Welcome to the latest edition of AEW IGNITE! It is time for the first live AEW Dynamite in weeks. It is also time for the Road to Double or Nothing to truly begin as it is only a few weeks away now. Who will walk out of the Street Fight Tag Team Match? Let us see what AEW has in store for us on Wednesday:

    Lance Archer vs. QT Marshall

Lance Archer advanced to the finals of the TNT Championship last week as he literally bloodied Dustin Rhodes last week. It is now time for him to turn his attention to the finals and future date with Cody. However, he has to take on another member of the Nightmare Family first.

QT Marshall is part of a tag team with Dustin Rhodes. He will be out for some revenge for “The Natural One”. But can he slow down “The Murderhawk”? It will be a tough challenge for sure.

    Cody vs. Joey Janela

Cody pulled off a major victory defeating Darby Allin to earn a spot in the TNT Championship final. He has a daunting challenge in a few weeks against Lance Archer. How does Cody decide to prepare for that grueling match? He is going against Joey Janela.

Joey Janela as an opponent is an interesting choice to say the very least. He isn’t afraid to put his body on the line against any opponent. Cody said he wanted a challenge before Double or Nothing. Hopefully, he won’t get more than he bargained for.

    Jon Moxley vs. Frankie Kazarian

Jon Moxley is looking for a challenge. He has recently dethroned Le Champion at AEW Full Gear. He defeated Jake Hager in an Empty Arena match. Moxley has been nearly impossible to stop in AEW. The next person to step up to take the challenge is an interesting one, Frankie Kazarian.

This will be Frankie Kazarian’s first singles match in All Elite Wrestling. While he is known for his tag work in recent years with SCU but the twenty-two-year veteran has had a lot of success in singles as well over the years winning multiple singles titles in various promotions. Just like Scorpio Sky shined against Chris Jericho last year, Kazarian will be hungry to prove himself against the AEW World Champion. It should be a fun contrast of styles.

    Street Fight Tag Team Match

Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs. “Broken” Matt Hardy & Kenny Omega

Matt Hardy, who aligned himself with the Elite, hasn’t appeared in person at AEW Dynamite in recent weeks. He has threatened Chris Jericho on social media and had Vanguard-1 pay him a visit. Jericho really hates Vanguard-1. But finally, Chris Jericho will finally get his hands of the Broken one in person.

Sammy Guevara had an excellent match with Kenny Omega in recent weeks for the AAA Mega Championship. I am sure he will want another chance against Kenny Omega. It is a chance for the Inner Circle and The Elite to get their hands on each other again.

It is interesting to see them add the extra winkle of a Street Fight to this match. Jericho and Guevara have worked together for months. This will be the first time for Hardy and Omega to work as a team. Will that tag team cohesion matter on Wednesday night? What insanity will “Broken” Matt Hardy bring into a match with no rules? It will be a fun main event to watch for sure.
