Monday Night Raw opens with the WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins coming out to ringside..potentially to address The Fiend? He and Braun Strowman lost the Raw Tag Team Championships to Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler at Clash of Champions. Because of that, he’s only sporting one title tonight. Rollins does an in-ring promo and talks about the matches at Clash of Champions. Shortly after mentioning what happened to him at the hands of The Fiend. Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Funhouse theme played and Bray popped up on the screen. He ended the segment by telling Rollins that The Fiend might have something else to say to him later tonight.
As they were going to commercial, the match preview graphic for the King of the Ring final between Chad Gable and Baron Corbin was upside down. Freaky…was this a way of having The Fiend impose himself against Rollins?
Braun was shown walking backstage in a huff. As he was interviewed, he told Charlie that the reason he’s here is that the next person that steps foot in the ring is going to get these hands.

Cedric Alexander was still seeking some sort of retribution after falling victim to AJ Styles at Clash of Champions. That retribution would have to wait as he fell victim to a phenomenal forearm by AJ Styles and was pinned in the middle of the ring.
After the match, another brawl erupted with Ivar of the Viking Raiders going up to the top rope and diving onto Gallows & Anderson. Back inside the ring and Cedric Alexander tried to get the upper hand on AJ Styles but fell victim to a second rope Styles Clash as AJ stood victorious over Cedric once again.

The announcers put over the fact that Gable has fought an uphill battle in order to make it to the final. Corey Graves mentioned the fact that Baron Corbin had to compete in a triple threat match to make it into the final.
Baron Corbin dominated the early portion of the match until Gable fired back and ended up securing the ankle lock on to Corbin. He eventually made his way to the ropes without tapping out. To the chagrin of the WWE Universe in attendance, Baron Corbin nailed Chad Gable with the End Of Days and he is now your 2019 WWE King of the Ring. Long Live King Corbin.

Back to ringside, Maria is insulting Mike again telling him that she thought if she embarrassed him enough, it would spark a fire in him to defend her unborn child’s honor. She admitted Ricochet was not the father. She followed it up by saying that the real father was Rusev???? Rusev makes him tap in a very short match.

Midway through the match, Alexa Bliss had to be escorted to the back due to a knee injury. It ended up being a handicap match as Nikki had to face Bayley and Sasha by herself.
Nikki gave the Boss-N-Hug Connection all they could handle but fell victim to the Bank Statement. After the match was over Sasha Banks grabbed a chair and looked to attack Nikki. The Man Becky Lynch ran down to ringside with her own chair. That prompted Bailey to grab a chair as well as she and Sasha would attempt to jump Becky.
Charlotte Flair would then come to ringside and even the odds. Flair and Becky Lynch got the better of Sasha Banks and Bayley. The Boss-N-Hug Connection would console each other outside the ring as the segment ended.
Back from commercial, Sasha Banks is in the locker room and cuts an angry promo on Becky Lynch challenging her to a Hell in the Cell match.

They immediately attacked Seth Rollins and even got help from AJ Styles and the OC, who all took turns getting their finishers on the WWE Universal champion.
The Big Red Machine, Kane, would make the save for Seth. But as he went to pose by the ring post, the lights flickered and The Fiend was behind him! The Fiend gave Kane the Mandible Claw and would then crawl over to a shaken Seth Rollins. He glared at him as the lights flickered again to end the show. Rollins quivered in the corner as The Fiend imposed his will. What will happen next week between Rollins and The Fiend?
